Festival

Okay so yesterday we went to band festival (which i had to miss the black light dance for :[ )Well how festival goes is our band picked three songs at the begining of the year that we want to play and we practice those songs alot. So when we got there we played our music and three judges judge us. anywhere from 1 to 5 with one being the best. Then when we are done there (still don't know our scores) we go to sight reading. This is where the people give us 2 pieces of music and we have a total of 7 minutes to look the music over (because we've never seen this in our life) so we ended up using 3 minutes on the first piece and 4 on the second then one judge would judge us on how well we played it for the first time. Then we had to wait for the scores. How the scoring goes is there are 4 scores Judge 1, Judge 2, Judge 3, and sight reading. We need to get an overall one. Then are scores finally came. Judge 1..... 1, Judge 2...... 2, Judge 3..... 1, Sight Reading..... 1 YAY we made it to state band so did OHHS. So I have no idea what we are going to do at state but I will let you guys know.
